Yes, our studios are open every weeknight without any special fees or arrangements.

Are VoiceBox's studios open on weekends?

 Our studios are open on weekends from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please note that weekend sessions are not refundable and there are no make-up sessions.

Does VoiceBox's studio provide video recording technology?

Yes, we do! Our themed studios are equipped with green-screen capabilities, lighting, microphone stands, streaming cameras, and mirrorless DSLR cameras that can be rented at an additional cost to ensure that your video recording sessions are successful.

Does VoiceBox's studio have live-streaming capabilities?

Yes, we do! Our studio is equipped with the necessary technology and resources to live-stream your content on any platform you desire using OBS and your laptop’s settings. Simply configure your preferred settings, and you’ll be able to live-stream your content with ease.

Can I invite remote guests to my session at VoiceBox's studio?

Yes, you can! We provide connections to our board for smartphones or laptops that allow you to invite guests to join your session via popular web-based applications like Zoom. Additionally, you can use any cloud-based service, app, or form of communication (such as Podbean or OBS) to bring remote guests into our studio. Simply choose your preferred method and you’ll be able to collaborate with your remote guests with ease.

What are the benefits of joining a VoiceBox monthly membership?

Membership at VoiceBox offers an immediate return on your investment. For each membership tier, you will receive a value almost double the monthly fee cost in the form of recording time. Our membership packages include access to our Creators Lounge, discounts on equipment rentals, and unique benefits to small business owners. Can I bring my own equipment to the studio?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own laptop, cameras, or other equipment to the studio. You are responsible for ensuring that your equipment is compatible with ours and will work properly during your session. We will do our best to help you set up your equipment, but your session time will not be extended for any delays in setup. Please note that VoiceBox is not responsible for any damage to your equipment while in the studio.

Can I bring food or drinks into the studio?

Food and drinks are not allowed in the recording studios or conference rooms. These spaces are equipped with advanced technology and equipment, and any spills could cause damage. If this policy is violated, the session will be immediately suspended with no refund, and any damaged equipment will be charged to you.

What audio format does VoiceBox record in, and do you record individual tracks?

At VoiceBox, we prioritize quality and record all audio in WAV file format. We also record everything in multiple tracks, giving you individual files for each microphone or audio source used during your session. This allows for greater flexibility and control during post-production.

How do I book additional time during a recording session?

If you need more time during your recording session, you must inform the staff before your time is up. If there is studio availability and you would like to book additional time, you will be charged for the overtime at $50 per half hour. Payment for overtime must be made at the end of the session. Please note that not all time slots have availability for overtime, and you may be required to end your session on time.

How do I book production services in advance?

 Production services can be booked through our online scheduling tool, along with your studio time. Be sure to select the specific services you require when booking your session to ensure the availability of our technical team. If you have any questions about the production services we offer, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Why do I need video content?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own engineer or technical support to your session. However, please be aware that VoiceBox is not responsible for any issues or problems that may arise with equipment or software that is not provided by us.

Do you provide any training or support for using the equipment and software in your studios?

Yes, we do provide training and support for using the equipment and software in our studios. If you are new to podcasting or need help getting started, our technical team is available to assist you. We recommend booking a training session in advance of your recording session to ensure that you are comfortable and familiar with the equipment and software.

Do you offer any discounts for long-term bookings or for repeat customers?

Yes, we do offer discounts for long-term bookings and for members. If you are interested in booking a studio for an extended period of time or if you want to become a member, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss available discounts.

Can I tour the facility before booking a session?

Are you open on holidays?

VoiceBox is closed on all national holidays and on Good Friday. On MLK Day and President’s Day, we are open from 10am to 4pm. Please check our online scheduling tool for any updates to these hours.

What is the cancellation policy at VoiceBox Podcast & Creators Studio?
